Replacement LCDs for Obsolete Standish LCD Modules

We are able to customize an LCD module to match your obsolete Standish LCD display. We can provide you with data sheets, tooling cost, unit cost and samples.

The Standish LCD module manufacturing facility was closed in 2002. This left many customers in need of a custom LCD display. Due to many soon obsolete Standish LCD displays, customers were forced to purchase a last time buy before their current module went end-of-life.

Focus Displays is your source for replacement displays that were once manufactured by Standish. We can supply you data sheets, specifications and cost for obsolete LCD Displays. We are able to modify Character, monochrome Graphic and Segment displays. We can also provide value added services such as adding a header or an elastomeric connector/Zebra strip.

The majority of the request are for 3 ½ digit, 4 1/2 digit, 7 segment displays (seven segment displays), 14 segment static (fourteen segment glass displays), 16 digit displays.

All LCD modules have the option of TN, STN, FSTN direct drive and LCD Multiplex Drive

We are not a Standish industries LCD distributor, but we can tool up a display to meet your current or future custom LCD designs. We are able to help supply you with a drop-in equivalent display to your obsolete Standish LCD module. Our goal is to help locate customers whose LCD products have been discontinued since Standish LCD modules ceased production.

The majority of the Standish LCD displays we are asked to cross over are character displays and segment displays. We do not receive many requests for monochrome Graphic LCD modules.

The majority of the monochrome Graphic LCD Display requests we receive are not standard stock displays, but require a one-time tooling fee (also called a NRE fee). We are able to quote you on a display that is an equivalent to the discontinued Standish LCD module. We require a drawing and in some case a sample of the original LCD module.
